Everything you need to know about the Dream.
What is Dream?
Have you ever bought an airline ticket only to see the price fall and your frustration soar? Now, Dream can help you do something about it. Many travelers don’t realize that airlines offer refunds or travel credits if ticket prices decrease after purchase. For instance, airlines like Alaska, JetBlue, Southwest, United, and US Airways provide vouchers for the full price difference — if your ticket price drops by $150, you could get a $150 credit for future travel. Other airlines may offer partial refunds or credits after deducting change fees, which can be as high as $75. These offers typically apply when tickets are purchased directly from the airline. Tickets bought through third-party sites like Expedia or Orbitz are usually not eligible unless the price drop occurs within the first 24 hours. While these policies have existed for years, it’s often difficult for travelers to track price changes in time to claim a refund. The key is to act fast and request a refund while the lower price is still available. Dream makes this process easy by monitoring fare changes, so you can take advantage of savings opportunities without the hassle.
How does Dream work?
Forward booking confirmation emails, connect your email account, or simply search for flights and we’ll automatically monitor for price drops and secure refunds—so you can sleep worry-free and save more.
Is Dream free?
Yes, Dream is free to use! We operate on a 10% commission basis, only collecting this fee if we successfully find a refund for you. If you save, we earn.
Do airlines actually offer price drop refunds?
Yes, many U.S. airlines offer refunds if a ticket’s price drops after purchase, although the specifics can vary. In addition, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requires all airlines operating within the United States to provide free cancellations and full refunds for tickets canceled within 24 hours of purchase, as long as the booking was made at least seven days before departure. Beyond this, Dream tracks airline-specific policies to secure refunds when fares drop after booking.
Which airlines does Dream work with?
Dream works with major U.S. airlines, including American Airlines, Delta, Southwest, United, and JetBlue, among others. Using AI, Dream scans your booking confirmations and monitors price changes to maximize refund opportunities across the airline industry without needing manual integration for each airline.
How does Dream keep my emails secure?
Dream has tokenized access to email inboxes that only allows access to user’s booking confirmations. Based on the subject and sender, we can determine that an email is a receipt and pull it into our servers for analysis. Anything that is not a booking confirmation stays in your inbox secured by Gmail, Hotmail, or whatever service you use. Most other technology companies are trying to sell a product or personal data to third parties. We don’t do any of that. Instead, we build technology that acts as your agent. If we find that a flight has seen a price drop or rescheduling or there’s a better deal out there, we’ll help you get it. If granting email access is still concerning, you can definitely open a new email account for your purchases or forward emails to a unique Dream address.
Does Dream access any other emails besides booking receipts?
Dream’s access to your inbox is restricted solely to booking confirmation emails. Using the email’s subject and sender information, Dream identifies receipts and securely processes only those for analysis. Any emails that aren’t booking confirmations remain untouched in your inbox, protected by your email provider, whether it’s Gmail, Hotmail, or another service.
